Friendship Trips

Friendship Trips are held once a term though out the school year. These outings provide the opportunity for youngsters with special needs (age 9 – 17) to interact with their buddy in a fresh and exciting environment. In other words, a great way to connect with mainstream kids of similar age. The program takes them into a different and interesting environment where they are eager to grow and discover. The buddies are selected to model appropriate behavior and are encouraged to show their friends how to say thank you etc.. Adults are on hand to assume responsibility for the enjoyment and safety of friends and their buddies.
