History

The Friendship Circle is built on a successful model conceived 14 years ago. Its ideals and programming and have since spread to 72 communities in four countries and almost 10,000 volunteers. Since its introduction to Sydney last year, there has been a tremendous response from the Sydney community. Today, we are actively engaging 20 families and 40 teenage volunteers. The rapid growth of the program demonstrates the tremendous need for integrating social programming for children with special needs and teenage volunteers.
